Lost Wax Casting Fan

Lost-wax casting is an ancient casting process, also known as wax pattern casting. Its principle is to use a wax pattern to make a mold with the desired shape, and then inject molten metal into the mold. After the metal cools and solidifies, the wax pattern is melted away to obtain a casting.
To make a lost wax cast fan, you first need to make a wax pattern according to the design requirements. Wax models can be made by hand carving, machining or 3D printing. The shape of the wax pattern should match the shape of the final casting.
After making the wax pattern, attach it to a stand and place the entire stand into a metal container. Next, molten metal (usually aluminum alloy or bronze) is poured into the container so that the metal fills the entire wax pattern.
After the metal has cooled, place the metal container in water to separate the metal from the wax pattern. At this point, the wax pattern will melt and float to the surface, creating a cavity. Finally, the metal container is taken out and the remaining wax pattern is removed to obtain a complete casting.
For making fans, subsequent processing can be performed on the castings as needed, such as grinding, polishing, etc., to achieve the required appearance and functional requirements.
The lost wax casting process can produce complex-shaped castings with high precision and surface quality, so it is widely used in the manufacture of precision parts such as fans.
