Heat Treatment Casting Tray

Heat treatment is a process that changes the physical and chemical properties of materials through heating and cooling. During the casting process, heat treatment can be used to improve the mechanical properties of the casting, reduce internal defects, and improve the heat resistance of the material.
A casting pallet is a container used to transport and store castings. It is usually made of cast iron or steel materials and has the characteristics of strong load-bearing capacity, wear resistance and high temperature resistance.
The purpose of heat treatment of cast pallets is to improve its mechanical properties and heat resistance by changing the crystal structure and organization of the material. Commonly used heat treatment methods include annealing, normalizing, quenching and tempering.
Annealing is to heat the material to a certain temperature and then slowly cool it to eliminate internal stress and improve the plasticity of the material. Normalizing is to heat the material to a certain temperature and then cool it quickly to increase the hardness and strength of the material. Quenching is to heat the material to a critical temperature and then cool it rapidly to create a martensite structure in the material and improve its hardness and wear resistance. Tempering is to heat the quenched material to a certain temperature and then slowly cool it to reduce the brittleness of the material and improve its toughness.
Through appropriate heat treatment methods, the cast pallet can be made to have better wear resistance, tensile strength and high temperature resistance, thus improving its service life and reliability.
